Useful content before automation
A short article on the role of basic content before a site is used in SEO tests or campaigns.
Automation is only useful when it relies on a minimum of good content. An empty site or full of provisional texts does not provide a correct context for the tests, and the results can become difficult to interpret.
That's why, before campaigns or technical checks, it's worth adding a few simple items: what kind of projects are tracked, how pages are evaluated and what responsible publishing means. No need for complicated language; it is more important that the text is clear and verifiable.
A well-written core content helps the technical side as well: permalinks, feeds, indexing, archive display and theme behavior can be seen on real pages, not empty examples.
